THANKSGIVING WEEK!!!

Adam came to visit us for the week of Thanksgiving and we had a TON of fun with him here! The boys loved playing with their Uncle! And Alex was so happy to have his brother here to go hunting with! My favorite was when Adam was playing with the babies bouncy balls and put one in his hood to make it look like his head was abnormally tall...Hilarious!!!! We all went to my mom's for Thanksgiving dinner and got stuffed! I Love this holiday!!!!! Good food, good company and a bunch of fun! It was a fantastic week, and a great kick off to the holiday season!

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween was a hectic day! The boys hated being in their costumes. They were up way past their bedtime and were VERY GRUMPY. But they looked Adorable! Bronson was a zebra and Brevan was a tiger. Mom was just tired! We had fun though!

Boys' 1st Birthday

I can't believe my little guys turned one! We celebrated their first birthday on Friday Sept 4, 2009 and had Grandma Jacki come over to have cake and ice cream. Brevan was freaked out by the balloons and wouldn't take his eyes off them...SO FUNNY! Bronson was a little leary of them too! They both got little wagons full of blocks from Grandma Jacki, and a little people ark from Grandma great and and outfit from Mommy and Daddy. Such a beautiful day!

Walking!

My two little guys surprised me this month with walking! Now they are both VERY mobile!!! Bronson started officially walking on Aug 6th (just barely 11 months old), and Brevan started walking on Aug 13th (just a week after he turned 11 months). Its so exciting to see my little guys grow. It goes so fast. I can't believe that just under a year ago, they were new to the world. What a wonderful thing it is to be a mom!

starting our family

We found out I was pregnant the first week of January, 2008. Just 4 weeks later I was having complications, so we went to go have an ultrasound...and there THEY were, TWINS!!!! Everything was fine with me and with them. Being pregnant with twins is an incredible experience. I already loved these two little people, and I hadn't even met them. In April we found out that these two little bundles were BOYS! (Stems on both apples...way to go Alex!!) Despite being huge and uncomfortable, I was so very blessed and was able to go to 39 weeks with these two!
On September 4, 2008, Alex and I welcomed Bronson Garrett Aley and Brevan Michael Aley into the world, and our hearts!!!! Bronson was born at 7:49 am weighing 7 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long. Brevan came at 7:50 am weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and 18 inches long. Both healthy and happy!!! I could NEVER express in words how much I love these two little guys! I LOVE being a mom, and enjoy every minute if it! Alex is such a great daddy, and helps me out so much!

How it all began!

Alex and I met while I was going to school in Hawaii...well, kind of. Alex's sister and I were great friends at BYU Hawaii. Alex lived in Washington at the time. She gave me his email address so that I could get to know him. We wrote each other for over a month, and then I flew home for my little brother's wedding, and so Alex flew me out to meet him in washington for a few days. And we fell in love!!! I decided that I would stay in Utah instead of going back to Hawaii, and he decided to move to Utah. A month later he moved out here, and just 3 short weeks later we were engaged! We were married 4 months later on January 18, 2006 in the Mt Timpanogos temple. I am so blessed to have married my best friend, and the love of my life!

July

We had a VERY busy July! Brevan and Bronson took their first vacation, over the 4th, when we went to Washington to visit Grandma and Grandpa Aley, as well as Aunt Net, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Adam! We had such a FUN time!!!
